Job Details and Compensation
As a Banking Associate, you will be required to work 20 hours per week, with the potential for varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. The role offers a competitive hourly wage ranging from $23.75 to $31.00 USD. Role Responsibilities
The Banking Associate plays a pivotal role in delivering TD’s brand promise at the store location. The role encompasses a wide range of tasks, including customer transactions processing, new accounts opening, and providing advice on banking products and services. The objective is to help customers achieve their financial goals.
The Banking Associate is also responsible for connecting with customers, providing financial advice, and deepening relationships through the management of leads and referrals. This includes the creation and management of self-generated leads, managing received partner/retail to retail referral leads or campaign leads, customer outreach, and lead prioritization.
Education and Experience
Applicants for the Banking Associate role should have a high school diploma or GED. One year of experience working with customers in any capacity, demonstrated through volunteering, education, or military experience, is preferred. Additional requirements include excellent communication skills, strong organizational abilities, demonstrated problem-solving skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Customer and Shareholder Accountabilities
As a Banking Associate, you will be responsible for providing legendary customer service while promoting TD’s products to new and existing customers. You will also be accountable for managing wait times, engaging in lobby leadership, and representing the first point of contact for customer inquiries.
For shareholders, you’ll ensure compliance when completing operational activities in accordance with company guidelines and regulations such as the Bank Secrecy Act and the Patriot Act. This is to minimize risk and protect the customer.
