Role and Responsibilities of a Banking Associate
As a Banking Associate, you will play a key role in delivering TD’s Brand promise at a store location. This role is accountable for completing everyday banking transactions accurately, providing advice, and educational support on services, products, and tools to help Customers achieve their financial goals.
As a Banking Associate, you will be performing a wide range of tasks across multiple areas within a store location, including processing customer transactions, opening new accounts, and educating customers on all banking products and services. You will also deliver end-to-end advice customers expect, utilizing TD’s systems & tools to engage with Customers to acquire and deepen relationships. You will also have the opportunity to identify customer financial needs and educate on products, services and tools, or refer to the appropriate expert.
Education & Experience
A high school diploma or GED is required, along with 1 year of experience working with customers in any capacity. This can be demonstrated through any of the following: volunteering, education, military experience. Teller experience is preferred, and you will be required to complete Teller training and part 1 of platform training upon hire. Notary License is also preferred.
Employee/Team & Customer Accountabilities
As a Banking Associate, you will need to consistently provide legendary customer service, establish and nurture customer relationships, manage wait times to meet with a Banker, and understand and support the Bank’s customer service strategy.

Physical Requirements
Physical requirements for this role include the capability to perform sedentary work frequently, perform multiple tasks continuously, and operate standard office equipment continuously. Other physical requirements include the ability to respond quickly to sounds, sit, stand, walk frequently, and move safely in confined spaces occasionally.
