Role and Responsibilities

The Banking Associate is a vital role within the TD Bank structure, responsible for delivering TD’s brand promise at a store location. This role encompasses a diverse range of tasks across multiple areas within a Store location. These tasks include processing customer transactions, opening new accounts, and educating customers on all banking products and services.

The Banking Associate will provide end-to-end advice customers expect, build trust through educational content and tools, provide consultative support, and advocate proactive insights and recommendations. This role is also responsible for utilizing TD’s systems and tools to engage with customers, acquire and deepen relationships, and identify opportunities to promote and educate on products and services.

Qualifications and Experience

Applicants should possess a high school diploma or GED. One year of experience working with customers in any capacity is preferred and can be demonstrated through volunteering, education, or military experience. Other preferred qualifications include demonstrated customer service skills, teller experience, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. Notary License is a plus but not mandatory.

Customer and Shareholder Accountabilities

The Banking Associate role also carries significant customer and shareholder accountabilities. The role requires consistently providing legendary customer service while transacting, promoting, educating, and referring TD Products to new and existing customers. Additionally, the role also entails ensuring compliance when completing operational activities in accordance with company guidelines and regulations, such as the Bank Secrecy Act and the Patriot Act.

Compensation and Benefits

The pay rate for this position ranges from $22.00 – $27.75 USD for a 40-hour workweek.
