The Job Description: A Comprehensive Overview
The Banking Associate is a crucial role in delivering TD’s brand promise at a store location. The associate is responsible for accurately completing everyday banking transactions. Furthermore, they provide advice and educational support on services, products, and tools to help customers achieve their financial goals. The job entails a wide range of tasks, including processing customer transactions, opening new accounts, and educating customers on all banking products and services.
The Banking Associate also plays a role in building trust with customers through educational content & tools, providing consultative support, and advocating with proactive insights & recommendations. Utilizing TD’s systems and tools, the associate engages with customers to deepen relationships and promote products and services.
Additionally, the Banking Associate services customers on both the teller line and platform as needed, with capabilities including opening/closing personal deposit accounts, everyday bank transactions, handling debit card/credit card issues, regulation E, mobile and online (digital) banking.
Education & Experience: Essential Requirements
The ideal candidate for the Banking Associate role should possess a high school diploma or GED, and at least one year of experience working with customers in any capacity. Previous teller experience, demonstrated customer service skills, and a Notary License are preferred. The candidate must be proficient in Microsoft Office, have excellent communication skills, strong problem-solving skills, and ability to work independently and within deadlines.

Physical Requirements & Additional Information
