Work Location and Compensation

Based in Gainesville, Florida, the successful candidate will be expected to work for 40 hours per week. TD offers a competitive salary range of $22.00 – $27.75 USD, with the actual base pay varying based on the candidate’s skills, experience, job-related knowledge, and other specific business and organizational needs.

Job Description and Expectations

As a Banking Associate, you will be responsible for accurately completing everyday banking transactions, advising on services and products, and providing educational support to help customers achieve their financial goals. The role holds a depth and scope that will challenge you across multiple areas within the store location, from processing customer transactions to opening new accounts and educating customers on various banking products and services.

TD’s systems and tools will be at your disposal to engage with customers, deepen relationships, and attract and retain them. You’ll work towards understanding customer financial needs and identifying opportunities to promote and educate on products and services, or refer them to the appropriate team member or internal Bank partner, ensuring a positive customer experience at all times.

Education & Experience

A high school diploma or GED and at least 1 year of experience working with customers in any capacity are required for this role. Additional qualifications include Teller experience, excellent communication skills, strong organizational skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and a Notary License.

Customer Accountabilities

As an employee of TD, you will be expected to consistently provide legendary customer service while transacting, promoting, educating, and referring TD products to new and existing customers. You will also be required to manage wait times for clients to meet with a Banker, engage in lobby leadership, and understand and support the Bank’s customer service strategy.

Shareholder and Employee/Team Accountabilities

The Banking Associate role also involves specific accountabilities to shareholders and the team. These include ensuring compliance when completing operational activities, accurately processing cash/deposit/withdrawal transactions, and other account servicing requests. As a team member, you will contribute to a positive work environment, actively seek opportunities to improve work delivery, and embrace change positively.

Physical Requirements

The physical requirements for this role include frequent sitting, standing, and walking, occasional lifting/carrying, squatting, bending, and kneeling, and continuous reading, writing, and comprehending instructions, among others.
