Job Details and Compensation
The Banking Associate role is based in Jacksonville, Florida, United States of America, and demands a dedicated 40 hours per week. The pay scale ranges from $22.00 to $27.75 per hour, with the actual base pay offered being contingent on the candidate’s skills, job-related knowledge, and experience, as well as geographic location and other specific business and organizational needs.

Job Description and Duties
As a Banking Associate, you play a key role in delivering TD’s Brand promise at a store location. This role involves accurately completing everyday banking transactions and providing advice and educational support on services, products, and tools to help Customers achieve their financial goals.
The Banking Associate performs a wide range of tasks across multiple areas within a Store location. These tasks include processing customer transactions, opening new accounts, educating customers on all banking products and services, delivering end-to-end advice customers expect, and utilizing TD’s systems and tools to engage with Customers to acquire and deepen relationships.
Education and Experience
Minimum qualification requirements for this role include a high school diploma or GED, and at least one year of experience working with customers in any capacity. This experience can be demonstrated through any of the following: volunteering, education, military experience. Demonstrated Customer Service skills are preferred, as is experience as a teller. Candidates are also expected to have strong organization skills, excellent communication skills, and demonstrate effective problem-solving skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is also required, and having a Notary License is preferred.
Customer and Shareholder Accountabilities
As a Banking Associate, you are expected to consistently provide legendary customer service while transacting, promoting, educating, and referring TD Products to new and existing customers. You play a key role in establishing and nurturing customer relationships and managing wait times to meet with a Banker by scheduling, rescheduling or canceling client meetings.
Shareholder accountabilities include ensuring compliance when completing operational activities in accordance with company guidelines and regulations such as Bank Secrecy Act and Patriot Act to minimize risk and protect the customer.
