TD Bank is currently offering an exciting opportunity for a Banking Associate to join their team in Ewing, New Jersey, United States of America. The role is part-time with 30 hours per week, offering competitive compensation between $22.00 – $27.75 USD. The actual base pay may vary based upon the candidate’s skills and experience, job-related knowledge, geographic location, and other specific business and organizational needs.
Job Description and Responsibilities
The Banking Associate plays a key role in delivering TD’s brand promise at a store location. This role involves accurately completing everyday banking transactions and providing advice and educational support on services, products, and tools to help customers achieve their financial goals. The associate is responsible for performing a wide range of tasks across multiple areas within a store location, including processing customer transactions, opening new accounts, and educating customers on all banking products and services. They also engage with customers to acquire and deepen relationships, understand customer financial needs, and identify opportunities to promote and educate on products, services, and tools.
Education and Experience
Applicants should possess a high school diploma or GED. They should have at least one year of experience working with customers in any capacity. This experience can be demonstrated through volunteering, education, or military experience. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, excellent communication skills, effective problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently and within deadlines. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and a Notary License are preferred.
Physical Requirements
The role includes frequent domestic travel and performing sedentary work. It also involves sitting, standing, walking, lifting/carrying (under 25 lbs.), bending, kneeling, reaching overhead, and reaching forward occasionally among other physical tasks.
