TD Bank, one of the world’s leading financial institutions and North America’s fifth-largest bank, is seeking a Banking Associate for its location in Eustis, Florida. Role & Responsibilities
The Banking Associate plays a critical role in delivering TD’s brand promise at a store location. This position is responsible for accurately completing everyday banking transactions and providing advice and educational support on services, products, and tools. The role aims to help customers achieve their financial goals.
The range of tasks performed by the Banking Associate includes processing customer transactions, opening new accounts, and educating customers on banking products and services. The associate also provides consultative support, advocates proactive insights, and recommendations. They use TD’s systems and tools to engage with customers, acquire, and deepen relationships, and understand customer financial needs to promote appropriate products and services.
Education & Experience
A high school diploma or GED is required, with at least one year of experience working with customers. This experience can come from various settings, including volunteering, education, or military service. Teller experience is preferred, but not required. All new hires are required to complete Teller training and part 1 of platform training. Additionally, successful candidates must demonstrate strong organizational and communication skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. A Notary License is preferred.
Physical Requirements
The job involves a combination of sedentary work, multiple task management, and the operation of standard office equipment. The role may require occasional domestic travel but does not include international travel. The physical demands include occasional lifting/carrying of items under and over 25 lbs., as well as occasional squatting, bending, kneeling, crawling, and climbing. The job also requires continuous concentration and the ability to deal with standardized situations logically.
