Roles and Responsibilities
The Banking Associate plays a key role in delivering TD’s brand promise at the store location. This role involves processing everyday banking transactions, providing advice and support on services, products, and tools to help customers achieve their financial goals. The Banking Associate is expected to understand customer financial needs and provide advice on suitable products and services. They also need to manage their own leads, set and host appointments, and prioritize their tasks effectively.
Education and Experience Requirements
Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED and at least a year of experience working with customers. This experience can be demonstrated through volunteering, education, or military service. The role requires excellent communication and problem-solving skills, the ability to work independently and meet deadlines, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. A Notary License is preferred but not required.
Accountabilities
The Banking Associate is accountable to customers, shareholders, and the team. They are expected to provide legendary customer service, manage client meetings, and understand and support the Bank’s customer service strategy. They should also ensure compliance with all regulations, policies, and procedures, and follow the TD Code of Conduct.
Training and Onboarding
TD Bank provides training and onboarding sessions to ensure all new hires have the tools they need to succeed in their new role. Candidates will also have regular career, development, and performance conversations with their manager.
