Banking Associate: A Pivotal Role at TD’s City Line Avenue Branch

The role is a key one within the organization, providing an invaluable service to customers while also enabling the Bank to deliver its brand promise. The Banking Associate will be responsible for a wide range of tasks, including customer transactions, account openings, and advice on banking products and services.
Role and Responsibilities of a Banking Associate
The Banking Associate’s role is comprehensive and varied. They will perform tasks across multiple areas within the store, encompassing everything from processing customer transactions to opening new accounts and educating customers about all available banking products and services. This role is crucial in building trust with customers and providing them with the advice they need to achieve their financial goals.
Associates will also utilize TD’s systems and tools to engage with customers, deepen relationships, and attract and retain customers. They will understand customer financial needs to identify opportunities to promote and educate on products, services, and refer them to the appropriate team member or internal Bank partner.
Education and Experience Requirements
The Banking Associate role requires a high school diploma or GED and at least one year of experience working with customers. This experience could come from a variety of sources, including volunteering, education, or military service. Demonstrated customer service skills, excellent communication abilities, and strong organizational skills are preferred. Familiarity with Microsoft Office and the possession of a Notary License are also beneficial.
Customer and Shareholder Accountabilities
A Banking Associate at TD Bank must consistently provide legendary customer service while promoting and referring TD products to both new and existing customers. They must also be able to manage wait times, schedule or reschedule client meetings, and be the first point of contact for customer inquiries.
In terms of shareholder accountabilities, the Associate will be responsible for accurately processing cash/deposit/withdrawal transactions and other account servicing requests. They must also ensure compliance with all regulations, policies, and procedures.

Physical Requirements
