The Role of a Banking Associate at TD
The Banking Associate plays a vital role in delivering TD’s brand promise at a store location. The role involves performing a wide range of tasks across multiple areas within a Store location such as processing customer transactions, opening new accounts, and educating customers about different banking products and services. This position requires a deep understanding of customer financial needs to identify opportunities to promote and educate on products and services, thereby ensuring a positive customer experience.
Education and Experience Requirements
Applicants must have a high school diploma or GED and at least one year of experience working with customers. This experience can come from volunteering, education, or military experience. Additionally, teller experience is preferred but not required. Successful applicants will be required to complete Teller training and part 1 of platform training upon hire. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required and a Notary License is preferred.
Physical Requirements and Work Hours
The role involves frequent sedentary work and requires the ability to handle multiple tasks. The role will require sitting, standing, and walking frequently and occasional lifting/carrying of items under and over 25 lbs. The role may also require occasional domestic travel. The successful candidate must be available to work 40 hours per week, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.
