For this role, the pay details range from $22.00 – $27.75 USD for 40 hours of work per week.

Job Description and Responsibilities

The Banking Associate plays a key role in delivering TD’s Brand promise at a store location. As a professional in banking, this role involves accurately completing everyday banking transactions and providing advice and educational support on services, products, and tools to help Customers achieve their financial goals. This role involves a wide range of tasks like processing customer transactions, opening new accounts, and educating customers about banking products and services. The banking associate also is expected to deliver end-to-end advice customers expect by building trust with educational content and tools, providing consultative support, and advocating with proactive insights and recommendations.

Education and Experience

The ideal candidate for this role should have a high school diploma or GED and at least 1 year of experience working with customers. This experience can be demonstrated through volunteering, education, or military experience. The candidate should also have strong organizational skills, excellent communication skills, effective problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently and within deadlines. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and having a Notary License are preferred.

Customer Accountabilities

The banking associate is expected to consistently provide legendary customer service while transacting, promoting, educating, and referring TD products to new and existing customers. The associate should also be able to manage wait times for meeting with a banker by scheduling, rescheduling, or canceling client meetings.

Shareholder Accountabilities

The banking associate is responsible for ensuring compliance with operational activities in accordance with company guidelines and regulations such as the Bank Secrecy Act and Patriot Act. They are also expected to accurately process cash/deposit/withdrawal transactions and other account servicing requests.

Employee/Team Accountabilities

The banking associate should contribute to a positive work environment by aligning to TD model, brand, and culture. They should also be an active participant in personal performance and development activities, collaborate with team members, and actively seek opportunities to improve the delivery of work with high attention to quality standards.

Physical Requirements

The job may involve occasional domestic travel and requires frequently performing multiple tasks, operating standard office equipment, sitting, standing, and walking. The ability to move safely in confined spaces, lifting/carrying weights up to 25 lbs., and concentrating for long periods of time is also required.
