Key Role and Responsibilities
As a Banking Associate, you will play a key role in delivering TD’s Brand promise at a store location. You will be responsible for accurately completing everyday banking transactions and providing advice and educational support on services, products, and tools to help customers achieve their financial goals. This could include processing customer transactions, opening new accounts, and educating customers on all banking products and services. You will also delve into customers’ financial needs to identify opportunities to promote and educate on products, services, and refer them to the appropriate team member or internal Bank partner.
Qualifications and Skills
The ideal candidate should have a minimum of a high school diploma or GED and at least one year of experience working with customers. This experience could be demonstrated through various avenues, including volunteering, education, or military experience. It’s also beneficial if you have teller experience and a Notary License. You should possess excellent communication skills, be able to work independently and within deadlines, and demonstrate effective problem-solving skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is also required.
Customer Service and Compliance
In this role, you will be expected to provide legendary customer service while promoting, educating, and referring TD Products to new and existing customers. This includes managing wait times to meet with a Banker by scheduling, rescheduling, or canceling client meetings. You will also be responsible for ensuring ongoing compliance with internal/external audit and regulatory requirements.
