This professional, customer-facing role is based out of the bustling city of New York, New York, United States of America. This job is part-time, requiring 20 hours per week, with a pay rate ranging from $23.75 to $31.00 USD, depending on the candidate’s skills, experience, job-related knowledge, and other specific business and organizational needs.

Job Description and Responsibilities

The Banking Associate plays a key role in delivering TD’s Brand promise at a store location. This role is accountable for accurately completing everyday banking transactions and providing advice and educational support on services, products, and tools to help Customers achieve their financial goals.

This role requires performing a wide range of tasks across multiple areas within a Store location; including processing customer transactions, opening new accounts, and educating customers on all banking products and services. The Banking Associate is expected to build trust with customers through educational content & tools, provide consultative support, and advocate with proactive insights & recommendations.

Education & Experience

Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED and at least 1 year of experience working with customers in any capacity. Demonstrated customer service skills are preferred. The ability to work during operating hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled, is required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is also necessary.

Customer Accountabilities

The Banking Associate is responsible for consistently providing legendary customer service while transacting, promoting, educating, and referring TD products to new and existing customers. The associate should be able to manage wait times, engage in lobby leadership, and understand and support the Bank’s customer service strategy.

Shareholder Accountabilities

From a shareholder perspective, the Banking Associate is expected to ensure compliance when completing operational activities in accordance with company guidelines and regulations such as Bank Secrecy Act and Patriot Act to minimize risk and protect the customer.

Employee/Team Accountabilities

The Banking Associate is expected to contribute to a positive work environment, be an active participant in personal performance and development activities, collaborate with team members, and positively embrace change.

Physical Requirements

The job may require occasional domestic travel and involves frequent performing of multiple tasks and operating standard office equipment. The Banking Associate may also need to engage in occasional lifting/carrying of items under 25 lbs. and over 25 lbs.
