Job Details and Compensation
The Banking Associate position is a part-time role, requiring approximately 30 hours of work per week. The pay scale ranges from $23.75 to $31.00 USD per hour, based on the candidate’s skills, experience, job-related knowledge, geographic location, and other business and organizational needs.

Role and Responsibilities
The Banking Associate plays a pivotal role in delivering TD’s brand promise at the store location. The role involves processing everyday banking transactions, providing advice on products and services, and offering educational support to help customers achieve their financial goals.
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to, opening new accounts, providing consultative support, engaging with customers to deepen relationships, and identifying customer financial needs. The Banking Associate also services customers with opening/closing personal deposit accounts, everyday bank transactions, and issues relating to debit cards, credit cards, and digital banking.
Education and Experience Requirements
The minimum educational requirement for this role is a high school diploma or GED. While one year of customer service experience is preferred, it is not a mandatory requirement. Candidates with strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and proficiency in Microsoft Office are encouraged to apply. Teller experience and a notary license are additional assets.
Physical Requirements
The role demands a certain amount of physical activity, such as standing, walking, and occasional lifting or carrying. The job also requires concentration for long periods of time, and the ability to apply common sense to deal with standardized situations.
