The Role of a Banking Associate
The Banking Associate is a key role in delivering TD’s Brand promise at a store location. This role is accountable for accurately completing everyday banking transactions and providing advice and educational support on services, products, and tools to help Customers achieve their financial goals.
Your Key Responsibilities
As a banking associate, your responsibilities would include processing customer transactions, opening new accounts, and educating customers on all banking products and services. You will be expected to deliver end-to-end advice to customers, providing consultative support, proactive insights, and recommendations. You will also engage with customers to acquire and deepen relationships by utilising TD’s systems and tools.
Who is the Ideal Candidate?
The ideal candidate for this role will have a high school diploma or GED and at least 1 year of customer service experience. Teller experience is preferred but not mandatory. Strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, effective problem-solving skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office are also required. A Notary License is a plus.
What are the Physical Requirements?
The role may require domestic travel occasionally. It involves performing multiple tasks, operating standard office equipment, responding quickly to sounds, sitting, standing, walking, and performing certain physical activities like lifting/carrying under 25 lbs on an occasional basis. It also involves continuous mental activities such as reading, writing, comprehending instructions, adding, subtracting, multiplying, dividing, and applying common sense to deal with problems involving standardized situations.
