The Banking Associate is a crucial role in delivering TD’s commitment to its customers. This position requires one to accurately perform day-to-day banking transactions and provide advice and support on services, products, and tools to help customers achieve their financial goals. As a Banking Associate, you will be expected to perform a range of tasks, including processing customer transactions, opening new accounts, and educating customers on all banking products and services. You will be equipped with TD’s systems and tools to engage with customers to develop deeper relationships and attract and retain them.
Education and Experience Requirements
TD Bank is seeking a candidate with a high school diploma or GED and at least one year of experience working with customers. This experience can be demonstrated through volunteering, education, or military service. Other preferred qualifications include excellent communication skills, effective problem-solving skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. Notary License is preferred but not mandatory.
Customer and Shareholder Accountabilities
As a Banking Associate, you will consistently provide legendary customer service while transacting, promoting, educating, and referring TD Products to new and existing customers. You will also manage wait times to meet with a Banker by scheduling, rescheduling, or canceling client meetings. Furthermore, you will ensure compliance when completing operational activities in accordance with company guidelines and regulations such as Bank Secrecy Act and Patriot Act to minimize risk and protect the customer.

Physical Requirements and Other Considerations
