Role Description and Key Responsibilities
The Banking Associate is responsible for accurately completing everyday banking transactions, providing advice, and offering educational support on services, products, and tools to help customers achieve their financial goals. This role involves a wide range of tasks, including processing customer transactions, opening new accounts, and educating customers on banking products and services. As a Banking Associate, you will also deliver end-to-end advice customers expect.
Qualifications and Skills
Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED and a minimum of 1 year of customer service experience. Teller experience is preferred, but not mandatory. The successful candidate should demonstrate excellent communication skills, effective problem-solving abilities, and the capability to work independently within deadlines. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required, and a Notary License is preferred.
Customer and Shareholder Accountabilities
As a Banking Associate, you will be expected to consistently provide legendary customer service while transacting, promoting, educating, and referring TD products to new and existing customers. You will also be responsible for managing wait times to meet with a banker by scheduling, rescheduling, or canceling client meetings. In addition, you will also be tasked with ensuring compliance when completing operational activities in accordance with company guidelines and regulations.
