The bank is looking for a Banking Associate for a 30-hour weekly role based in Miami Lakes, Florida. Bilingual Spanish speakers are preferred for this position. The pay range is set between $22.00 and $27.75 USD per hour. This role is part of the Personal & Commercial Banking line of business.
Role of a Banking Associate
The Banking Associate plays a crucial role in delivering TD’s brand promise. The role involves accurately completing everyday banking transactions, providing advice, and offering educational support on services, products, and tools to assist customers in achieving their financial goals. The associate will perform a wide range of tasks, including processing customer transactions, opening new accounts, and educating customers on various banking products and services.
Experience and Skills Required
The prospective candidate must hold a high school diploma or GED. Ideally, they should have at least one year of experience working with customers. This experience can be demonstrated through various platforms such as volunteering, education, or military experience. Teller experience is preferred, and the successful candidate will be required to complete Teller training and part one of platform training upon hire.
Strong organizational skills, excellent communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and the ability to work independently and within deadlines are some of the desired skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is also essential, and having a Notary License is preferred.
Customer and Shareholder Accountabilities
The Banking Associate will be expected to provide top-notch customer service consistently. The associate will be responsible for establishing and nurturing customer relationships, managing wait times for clients, and understanding and supporting the Bank’s customer service strategy. In addition, the associate will ensure compliance with all regulations and policies and maintain appropriate records of action plans.

As a team member, the Banking Associate will contribute to a positive work environment and collaborate with team members to contribute to the team and organization’s success. The associate will also seek diverse feedback to continuously develop and enhance their skills and actively embrace change.
Physical Requirements
The role involves frequent sitting, standing, and walking, along with occasional lifting and carrying (under and over 25 lbs.). The associate will need to perform multiple tasks and operate standard office equipment continuously.
