TD Bank is seeking a professional Banking Associate to join its team in New Haven, Connecticut, United States of America. This role requires a commitment of 30 hours per week and offers competitive pay ranging from $22.00 – $27.75 USD. Key Responsibilities of a Banking Associate

The Banking Associate plays a crucial role in delivering TD’s Brand promise at a store location. This role involves processing customer transactions, opening new accounts, and educating customers on all banking products and services. The associate provides end-to-end advice to customers, builds trust with educational content & tools, and advocates with proactive insights & recommendations. The role also involves understanding customer financial needs to identify opportunities to promote and educate on products, services, and referring them to the appropriate team member or internal Bank partner.

As a Banking Associate, you will also be responsible for servicing customers with opening/closing personal deposit accounts, everyday bank transactions, debit card/credit card issues, regulation E, mobile and online (digital) banking. The role also involves connecting with customers, providing financial advice, and deepening relationships through lead management activities.

Qualifications and Skills Required

The ideal candidate for the Banking Associate position should have a high school diploma or GED. They should have at least 1 year of experience working with customers in any capacity, which can be demonstrated through volunteering, education, or military experience. Teller experience is preferred but not mandatory. The candidate should have strong organization skills, excellent communication skills, effective problem-solving skills, and the ability to schedule and prioritize work. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required, and a Notary License is preferred.
