Job Details and Compensation
The position requires 30 hours of work per week. TD Bank values the skills, knowledge, and experience of its employees and compensates them fairly and equitably. The pay range for this role is between $22.00 – $27.75 USD. The final compensation offered will depend on the candidate’s skills, experience, job-related knowledge, geographical location, and other business and organizational needs.
Role and Responsibilities
The Banking Associate is a key player in delivering TD’s brand promise at the store location. The role involves accurately processing everyday banking transactions, providing advice, and educational support on banking services, products, and tools. This position also requires the employee to build relationships with customers, understand customer financial needs, and aid in opening and closing personal deposit accounts.
Education and Experience
Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED. A year of experience working with customers in any capacity, including volunteering, education, or military experience, is preferred. Additionally, the candidate should have strong organization skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to schedule and prioritize work. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and a Notary License are also preferred.
Accountabilities
The Banking Associate is expected to provide legendary customer service, establish and nurture customer relationships, manage client meetings, and understand and support the Bank’s customer service strategy. Moreover, they should consistently adhere to compliance/risk and control programs and ensure ongoing compliance with internal/external audit and regulatory requirements.
Physical Requirements
The role demands a combination of sedentary work and physical tasks. The employee may need to perform multiple tasks, operate standard office equipment, respond quickly to sounds, and move safely in confined spaces. Occasional lifting/carrying, squatting, bending, kneeling, and crawling may also be required.
