Job Description and Responsibilities
The Banking Associate plays a crucial role within TD by accurately completing everyday banking transactions and providing advice and educational support on services, products, and tools to help customers achieve their financial goals. This professional is accountable for a wide range of tasks across multiple areas within the store location, including processing customer transactions, opening new accounts, and educating customers on all banking products and services.
As a Banking Associate, you will deliver end-to-end advice customers expect, building trust with educational content and tools, providing consultative support, and advocating with proactive insights and recommendations. Additionally, you will utilize TD’s systems and tools to engage with customers to acquire and deepen relationships by providing advice and guidance to ultimately attract and retain the customer.
Qualifications and Skills
For this role, a high school diploma or GED is required. Candidates with one year of experience working with customers in any capacity, demonstrated through volunteering, education, or military experience, are preferred. The position also requires strong organizational skills, excellent communication skills, effective problem-solving skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. A Notary License is preferred but not required.
Physical Requirements
The role may require occasional domestic travel, along with frequent sitting, standing, and walking. The ability to perform multiple tasks and operate standard office equipment is also essential. Other physical demands might include occasional lifting/carrying under 25 lbs., bending, squatting, and reaching overhead.
Compensation and Benefits
The pay for this part-time role ranges from $22.00 to $27.75 per hour, depending on the candidate’s skills, experience, and job-related knowledge.
