What Does a Banking Associate Do?
The Banking Associate plays a key role in delivering TD’s brand promise at a store location. This professional is accountable for accurately completing everyday banking transactions and providing advice and educational support on services, products, and tools to help customers achieve their financial goals. Their tasks range from processing customer transactions, opening new accounts to educating customers on all banking products and services. They are expected to build trust with customers, provide consultative support, and advocate with proactive insights and recommendations.
What are the Requirements for the Position?
Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED. A year of experience working with customers in any capacity, whether through volunteering, education, or military experience, is preferred. Demonstrated customer service skills are also preferred, as are strong organizational skills, the ability to work independently and within deadlines, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. Teller experience is preferred, and the successful candidate will be required to complete Teller training and part one of platform training upon hire.
