The location for this role is in Williamstown, Massachusetts, United States of America. The position requires 20 hours of work per week, with the hourly pay ranging from $22.00 to $27.75 USD. Job Description and Responsibilities

The Banking Associate plays a critical role in delivering TD’s brand promise at the store location. The role involves the completion of everyday banking transactions, providing advice, and supporting customers with services, products, and tools to help them achieve their financial goals. The associate is not only responsible for processing customer transactions and opening new accounts, but also for educating customers about all banking products and services.

Depth and Scope

The Banking Associate performs a variety of tasks across multiple areas within the store location. From delivering end-to-end advice to customers to utilizing TD’s systems and tools to engage with customers, the role requires a deep understanding of customer financial needs. The associate is also expected to accurately complete everyday banking transactions either on the teller line or on the platform, service customers with opening/closing personal deposit accounts, and manage wait times to meet with a Banker by scheduling, rescheduling, or canceling client meetings.

Required Education and Experience

Among the qualifications are a high school diploma or GED and at least a year of experience working with customers in any capacity. Teller experience is preferred, and the successful candidate will be required to complete Teller training and part 1 of platform training upon hire. Strong organizational skills, excellent communication skills, effective problem-solving skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office are among the essential skills required for the role.

Customer and Shareholder Accountabilities

The Banking Associate is expected to provide legendary customer service while transacting, promoting, educating, and referring TD Products to new and existing customers. Ensuring compliance when completing operational activities in accordance with company guidelines and regulations is also a key responsibility, to minimize risk and protect the customer.

Physical Requirements

While the job does not require international travel, it does occasionally involve domestic travel. The role requires performing multiple tasks, operating standard office equipment, sitting, standing, and walking frequently, and lifting/carrying items up to 25 lbs. occasionally.
