About the Position
TD Bank is offering an exciting opportunity for a Banking Associate, based in Hackettstown, New Jersey, United States. This part-time role requires 20 hours per week, with a competitive salary range from $23.75 to $31.00 USD. The Role
The Banking Associate plays a key role in delivering TD’s brand promise at a store location. The role involves processing everyday banking transactions, providing advice, and educational support on services, products, and tools to help customers achieve their financial goals. The candidate will be required to accurately complete everyday banking transactions, identify customer financial needs, engage with customers, and provide financial advice.
Education & Experience Requirements
The successful candidate must have a high school diploma or GED, and at least 1 year of experience working with customers. This experience can be demonstrated through any of the following: volunteering, education, or military experience. Other desirable skills include effective problem-solving, excellent communication, the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Customer Accountabilities
The Banking Associate will be required to consistently provide legendary customer service while transacting, promoting, educating, and referring TD Products to new and existing customers. The candidate will also be required to manage wait times to meet with a Banker by scheduling, rescheduling, or canceling client meetings.
Physical Requirements
The role requires frequent sitting, standing, walking, and the ability to perform multiple tasks continuously. Occasional lifting/carrying (under 25 lbs.), squatting, bending, kneeling, crawling, climbing, reaching overhead, and forward are also part of the role. The candidate must also have the ability to concentrate for long periods of time and apply common sense to deal with problems involving standardized situations.
