Role Overview
The Banking Associate’s primary responsibility is to provide exceptional customer service while handling everyday banking transactions. Additionally, the associate should provide advice and support on TD’s services, products, and tools, thereby assisting customers in achieving their financial goals. This role demands a proactive approach and a strong understanding of customer’s financial needs to identify opportunities and promote relevant products and services.
Qualifications and Experience
Prospective candidates should possess a high school diploma or GED. One year of customer service experience is preferred but not mandatory. Teller experience is also an asset. Importantly, candidates should demonstrate strong communication, problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required, and a notary license is preferred.
Customer and Shareholder Responsibilities
Among the key responsibilities, the Banking Associate will consistently provide legendary customer service, establish and nurture customer relationships, manage wait times and lobby traffic, and ensure compliance with internal/external audit and regulatory requirements. In addition, the associate will accurately process cash/deposit/withdrawal transactions and other account servicing requests, adhering to company guidelines and regulations.
