Join Our Team as a Banker
Associated Bank is currently looking for individuals to join our team as a Banker. In this role, you will have the opportunity to build relationships with customers, provide exceptional service, and develop the skills necessary to grow within the banking industry.
As a Banker, your role will involve processing transactions, assisting customers with their financial needs, and introducing solutions that help them achieve their financial goals. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience, complete banker certification, and advance within our organization. We adhere to the Truth in Lending, Regulation Z, requiring a credit check per 12 CFR Chapter X, Part 1026.
Key Accountabilities
As a Banker, your responsibilities would include delivering outstanding customer service by efficiently processing transactions and addressing customer needs. You would also be expected to identify opportunities to recommend products and services that support customers’ financial wellness. Opening new accounts, building lasting relationships through personalized service, and partnering with specialists across various teams to provide comprehensive financial solutions are also part of the role.
Furthermore, you would be responsible for supporting the operational integrity and compliance of the branch, adhering to all policies and regulations. Participation in the Banker Roadmap program, completing training milestones and certification requirements, is also expected. Additionally, you will be expected to educate customers on digital banking options and demonstrate tools that enhance their banking experience.
Education & Experience
The requirements for the Banker role include a high school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience, and up to 2 years of customer-facing sales and/or service experience. Preferred qualifications include experience in banking, financial services, or retail sales.
