Job Opportunity: Bank Operations Supervisor – Information Reporting

Zions Bancorporation is currently seeking a Bank Operations Supervisor – Information Reporting (in-office) to join their team in Midvale, UT. This position involves supervising the flow of operations that support retail and commercial bank business functions. Some of these functions include unclaimed property servicing and reporting, IRA servicing and reporting, legal processing, tax reporting, and various other regulatory reporting.

Job Responsibilities

As a Bank Operations Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring that operating schedules, processing, and procedures are met and that the staff is adequately trained. You will also supervise staff, set work schedules, allocate and monitor work, and have authority concerning staffing, performance evaluations, promotions, salary recommendations, and terminations. Additionally, you will review existing procedures and recommend changes when necessary to ensure efficiency in your area. You will also provide input for the area budget and/or budgeting process and perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate should have a high school diploma or GED and at least 2 years of experience in bank operations processes and procedures, departmental operations, or supervision of departmental operational functions. Supervisory experience is a plus, and a college degree is preferred. Other required skills include a basic knowledge of banking or bank operations practices, principles, applications, methods, policies, and procedures. Solid interpersonal, problem resolution, and communication skills, both verbal and written, are also necessary. The candidate should also display good leadership or supervisory skills.
