Job Opportunity: Bank Manager at BMO’s Steamboat Springs Branch
Bank of Montreal (BMO) Financial Group, a leading Canadian multinational investment bank and financial services corporation, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual for the role of a Bank Manager at their Steamboat Springs branch. This job post will remain open until the 27th February, 2026 and is located at 555 Lincoln Avenue, Steamboat Springs.

As part of the Retail Banking Sales & Service group, the successful candidate will be responsible for guiding, directing, and coaching employees to ensure the highest level of service.
Key Responsibilities
The Bank Manager will play a vital role in understanding and meeting the financial needs of BMO customers. They will provide strategic advice on the bank’s products and strategies, making referrals to other business groups where necessary. A significant part of this role involves supporting sales and customer service activities to meet strategic customer experience and profitability goals, while ensuring compliance with legal, regulatory requirements, and the bank’s policies and processes.
In addition to these responsibilities, the Bank Manager will also contribute to business development activities, including conducting sales calls and establishing a personal referral network. They will also be expected to maintain a high-touch relationship with key branch customers and prospects within the market. Part of this role will also involve resolving customer-related issues using knowledge of bank services, products, and processes.
Qualifications & Experience
The ideal candidate for this position will have a post-secondary degree in a related field of study and between 4 to 6 years of relevant experience. Previous supervisory or management experience is preferred. A comprehensive understanding of retail banking products and services, as well as advanced knowledge of the competitive marketplace and trends in product offerings, is required. The candidate should also possess strong verbal and written communication skills, collaboration and team skills, analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to make data-driven decisions.
Remuneration
The salary range for this position is between $57,500.00 and $106,500.00, depending on factors such as location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications for the role.
