Role of a Financial Services Representative
As a Financial Services Representative at First Citizens Bank, your responsibilities extend beyond traditional banking services. You will be entrusted with the task of supporting sales and service delivery within the branch. This role involves building and expanding banking relationships through proactive customer outreach and addressing customer service requests. You will be responsible for opening deposit accounts and related banking services. Your role is also crucial in identifying and referring sales opportunities to the appropriate bank partner.

Marketing Responsibilities
Achieving individual and/or team financial, production and relationship results relative to the specific metrics and goals assigned is a pivotal part of your role. You will represent the bank in the community to generate additional business and identify potential Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) opportunities. Engaging in sales practices that create value for both the customer and the bank is an integral part of your role.
Service Standards
As a Financial Services Representative, you will foster collaborative partnerships that deliver value for customers, prospects, and colleagues. You will initiate conversations to uncover sales or referral opportunities.
Operations and Administration
You are expected to comply with all regulations, bank policies, procedures, and delegated authorities to manage risk related to credit, operational, reputational, regulatory and legal aspects of personal interactions, customer transactions and financial exposures.
Qualifications
For this role, a Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 1 year experience in a sales, customer service, lending or financial services sales is required. Alternatively, a high school diploma or GED with a minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role is acceptable. Skill(s) required for this role include application of a structured sales process, providing financial guidance and expertise, financial literacy, and knowledge of retail banking products and services.
The base pay for this position is generally between $24.05 to $36.00 per hour. The actual starting base pay will be determined based on skills, experience, location, and other non-discriminatory factors permitted by law. For some roles, total compensation may also include variable incentives, bonuses, benefits, and/or other awards as outlined in the offer of employment.
