Description
Robert Half Financial Services is currently seeking a qualified candidate for the position of AVP/VP Internal Auditor at a global boutique Bank firm located in midtown Manhattan. This role requires a minimum of 6 years of Internal Audit experience at a Bank regulated by NYDFS or FRB/FED, with expertise in auditing various business areas such as Accounting, Third Party Risk, Regulatory Compliance, Treasury, and Risk Management. Candidates must hold at least one of the following certifications – CIA, CPA, CISA, CAMS. The position is hybrid remote, with 2 days per week required in the midtown Manhattan office.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Chief Auditor in completing the annual audit schedule based on the Bank’s Risk Assessment Program
- Conduct planning, testing, and reporting for complex auditable entities
- Participate in functional audits to assess internal control environment
- Examine and validate financial records utilizing auditing standards
- Prepare audit reports and recommend corrective actions
- Facilitate regulatory exams and reviews
- Maximize efficiency through functional audits
- Promote integrated auditing concepts and technology use
- Participate in training for advanced audit techniques
Requirements
- 6+ years of Internal Audit experience at a Bank
- Must hold CIA, CPA, CISA, or CAMS certification
- Knowledge of various business areas and auditing standards
- Strong written and interpersonal communication skills
- Understanding of banking laws and regulations
- Bachelor or Master’s Degree
