Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

The role of an Associate Banker demands specific qualifications and skills. Here is what you need:

  • A minimum of three years of experience in a similar banking, venture, credit, or treasury role
  • Outstanding professional reputation and integrity
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and retain new and profitable relationships
  • Capability to assess risks inherent in complex credit transactions and negotiate accordingly
  • Extensive knowledge of products and services
  • FINRA Series 79, 63 and Securities Industry Essentials licenses or the ability to obtain them within 180 days of hire

While the above qualifications are essential, the following capabilities and skills are preferred:

  • A Bachelor’s degree
  • Superior knowledge of the market dynamics and its business environment
