Position Responsibilities

The Associate Bank Financial Advisor will be integral to the Financial Advisory – Bank function. They will participate in Wells Fargo Advisors’ comprehensive training program, designed to equip them with the necessary skills to meet personal, professional, and organizational client service and financial goals.

Additionally, the role involves assessing clients’ goals and risk tolerance, evaluating their investment profiles, and identifying their financial needs. This position is particularly focused on lower risk tasks and deliverables with a narrower impact.

The LO position will engage with customers, assessing their needs, and referring those interested in a dwelling secured product to a SAFE team member. Importantly, this role does not involve taking an application or offering or negotiating the terms of a dwelling secured transaction. However, the job does have certain Loan Originator requirements under Regulation Z (LO), as outlined in the job expectations below.

Required and Desired Qualifications

The ideal candidate should have at least 6 months of experience in Customer Service, Sales, Relationship Building, or an equivalent demonstrated through a combination of work experience, training, military experience, or education. Successful completion of the Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) exam or its equivalent is essential.

Desired qualifications include FINRA registration including Series 7 and 66 (or FINRA recognized equivalents), financial services and client services experience, sales or sales support experience, and a BS/BA degree or higher. Candidates with experience in developing and managing client relationships are particularly desirable.

Job Expectations and Requirements

Individuals in this role must meet the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau qualification requirements and comply with related Wells Fargo policies. Comprehensive credit reports will be used to assess financial responsibility and credit fitness. Successful candidates must also meet ongoing regulatory requirements, which may include additional screening.

Appropriate Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) license(s) must be obtained and/or maintained for ongoing employment in this position. Specific compliance policies regarding outside activities and/or personal investing may apply, and affected employees will be expected to provide information to the Wells Fargo Personal Account Dealing Team and abide by applicable policy requirements.
