Wells Fargo, a renowned multinational financial services company, is on the lookout for an Associate Bank Financial Advisor. The role comes under the Wealth and Investment Management division, providing an excellent opportunity to work with Wells Fargo Advisors.

Role Responsibilities and Expectations

The successful candidate will be a part of Wells Fargo Advisors’ training program, aimed at meeting personal, professional, and organizational client service and financial goals within the Financial Advisory – Bank function.

The Associate Bank Financial Advisor will review basic or tactical client goals and risk tolerance, assess investment profiles, and evaluate client financial needs related to lower-risk tasks and deliverables with narrower impact. Furthermore, this role requires direct customer contact, assessing customers’ needs, and referring those interested in a dwelling secured product to a SAFE team member.

As a part of this Loan Originator (LO) position, the candidate will assist customers without taking an application and without offering or negotiating terms of a dwelling secured transaction, adhering to the Loan Originator requirements under Regulation Z (LO).

Qualifications and Requirements

Wells Fargo requires potential candidates to have at least 6 months of Customer Service, Sales, Relationship Building experience, or equivalent through work experience, training, military experience, or education. Additionally, candidates must have successfully completed the Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) exam or equivalent.

Desirable qualifications for this role include FINRA registration, including Series 7 and 66 (or FINRA recognized equivalents), financial services experience, client services experience, and sales or sales support experience. Candidates with a BS/BA degree or higher are preferred.

The position requires adherence to Consumer Financial Protection Bureau qualification requirements and compliance with related Wells Fargo policies. Successful candidates must meet applicable financial responsibility, character, general financial fitness, and criminal background standards. Wells Fargo will initiate the FINRA licensing review process at the time of offer acceptance.

Compensation and Benefits

The base pay range for this position is determined based on factors like prior performance, skills, experience, or work location. In addition to the base pay, employees may also be eligible for incentive opportunities.
