Summer Analyst Program: An Opportunity to Shape the U.S. Economy
As a Summer Analyst within the Corporate & Investment Bank Public Finance Program, you will get an opportunity to work alongside the top professionals in the business and contribute to solutions that shape the U.S. economy. Our bankers are focused on long-term relationships and developing strategies that help our government and corporate clients grow and innovate.
We cater to the complex financing needs of state and local governments, non-profit healthcare, higher education and housing institutions, utilities, and certain corporations that issue debt in the capital markets. Public Finance provides exposure to all aspects of the capital markets by working closely with sales, trading, and underwriting desks for prospective and live transactions.

Job Responsibilities
- Analysis of market data, building detailed financial models, and preparation of client presentations for credit strategies and debt issuance
- Managing client transactions from pitch to close under the guidance of our senior leaders
- Developing innovative and creative ways to solve complex, real-world business challenges
- Gaining insights on how we help clients and communities grow, irrespective of their needs
- Sharpening your technical skills
- Building your professional network with mentors, senior executives, and others
What We’re Looking For
In terms of qualifications, capabilities, and skills, we are looking for individuals with excellent analytical, quantitative (e.g., algebra, statistics, probability), and interpretive skills. Candidates should thrive in a dynamic, collaborative work environment and be adaptable, flexible, and resilient. Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word is required, along with fluency in English. A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.2 on a 4.0 scale is required, and the expected graduation date should be between December 2027 and June 2028 from a Bachelor’s or Master’s program.
Preferred qualifications include coursework in finance or economics and an interest in public infrastructure finance.
If you are authorized to work in the U.S and are enrolled in a STEM degree program that is heavily indexed in finance, you may be eligible for this program. We offer limited sponsorship for such candidates.
