Role: Technical Data Management Manager (Banking)
As a Technical Data Management Manager (Banking), you will have the opportunity to lead the technical architecture, configuration, and implementation of enterprise Master Data Management (MDM) solutions at our Banking and FSI clients. You will operate at the intersection of technology and business, ensuring that MDM platforms are robust, scalable, and aligned with client objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Your role as a Technical Data Management Manager will be multifaceted. You will collaborate closely with data architects, engineers, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into actionable technical architecture, designs, and data integration patterns, including non-functional needs such as security, resiliency, and performance. You will drive the technical delivery of complex MDM programs, overseeing design, build, validation, and production deployment and hyper-care phases. As part of your role, you will also support hands-on configuration and deployment, as needed, of industry-leading MDM solutions, including matching, survivorship, hierarchies, and data quality controls.
Moreover, you will lead technical teams through best practices in solution design, code reviews, release management, and troubleshooting complex issues across the MDM lifecycle. You will also design and enforce data governance, security, compliance, and privacy practices, ensuring regulatory alignment and operational excellence.

Qualifications
The ideal candidate for the Technical Data Management Manager role has 6+ years of relevant experience in data management consulting or industry roles, with a focus on master data management (MDM), data governance, metadata, data architecture, data strategy, data quality, data modeling, and data standards. Additionally, 4+ years of technical experience in the Financial Services – Banking industry, and 3+ years of hands-on technical implementation and support experience with leading data management platforms are required. A Bachelor’s Degree is also a must for this role.
