Work Hours and Compensation
The Banking Associate position is a full-time role, requiring 40 hours of commitment per week. The pay scale ranges between $22.00 – $27.75 USD per hour. The actual base pay offered may vary depending upon the candidate’s skills, experience, job-related knowledge, and geographic location.
Job Profile and Responsibilities
As a Banking Associate, you will play a pivotal role in propelling TD’s brand promise at the store location. Your responsibilities will span across a variety of tasks, including processing customer transactions, opening new accounts, and educating customers on banking products and services. You will be the face of TD Bank, providing consultative support and financial advice to customers, thereby helping them achieve their financial goals.
Key Accountabilities:
- Engage with customers to acquire and deepen relationships by providing advice and guidance
- Accurately complete everyday banking transactions
- Understand customer financial needs and identify opportunities to promote and educate on products and services
- Service customers with opening/closing personal deposit accounts, everyday bank transactions, debit card/credit card issues, regulation E, mobile and on-line (digital) banking
Education & Experience Requirements
The minimum educational requirement for this role is a high school diploma or GED. One year of customer service experience is preferred, which can be demonstrated through volunteering, education, or military experience. Teller experience is also preferred, but not mandatory.
Customer and Shareholder Accountabilities
A Banking Associate at TD Bank is expected to consistently provide legendary customer service while transacting, promoting, educating, and referring TD products to new and existing customers. You will also be responsible for ensuring compliance when completing operational activities in accordance with company guidelines and regulations.

Physical Requirements of the Role

You may also be required to engage in physical activities such as lifting/carrying items, squatting, bending, kneeling, crawling, and climbing.
