This full-time position offers a competitive compensation package, ranging from $22.00 to $27.75 USD per hour.

Role and Responsibilities of a Banking Associate

The Banking Associate, a key player in delivering TD’s brand promise, is responsible for accurately completing everyday banking transactions. This professional also provides advice and educational support on services, products, and tools to help customers achieve their financial goals.

The role is versatile and involves a wide range of tasks. The Banking Associate is expected to process customer transactions, open new accounts, and educate customers on all banking products and services. The professional will also leverage TD’s systems and tools to engage with customers, understand their financial needs, and promote products and services relevant to them.

In addition to the above, the Banking Associate will manage customer wait times, engage in lobby leadership, understand and support the bank’s customer service strategy, and drive referrals to support the broader, more complex financial needs of customers.

Qualifications and Skills Requirements

Interested applicants should possess a high school diploma or GED and preferably have at least one year of customer service experience. This can be demonstrated through volunteering, education, or military service. Strong organizational skills, excellent communication skills, and effective problem-solving skills are also essential.

Prospective candidates should also be proficient in Microsoft Office and have the ability to work independently and meet deadlines. A Notary License is preferred but not mandatory.

Physical Requirements and Work Environment

The role involves domestic travel occasionally but does not require international travel. The employee will be expected to perform multiple tasks and operate standard office equipment continuously. The job also involves frequent sitting, standing, and walking, along with occasional lifting and carrying of items weighing up to 25 lbs.
