Join Us As A Banking Associate
TD is currently seeking a professional Banking Associate to join the Personal & Commercial Banking team. Based in the beautiful town of Wyncote, Pennsylvania, this role is key in delivering TD’s brand promise at the store location. The Banking Associate is responsible for accurately completing everyday banking transactions, providing advice, and offering educational support on services, products, and tools to help customers achieve their financial goals.
Role Responsibilities and Scope
The Banking Associate wears many hats, executing a wide range of tasks across multiple areas within our store location. This includes processing customer transactions, opening new accounts, and educating customers on all banking products and services. In addition, this role involves delivering end-to-end advice to customers, building trust with educational content and tools, providing consultative support, and advocating with proactive insights and recommendations.
The Banking Associate utilizes TD’s systems and tools to engage with Customers, deepening relationships by providing advice and guidance to ultimately attract and retain customers. This role also requires understanding customers’ financial needs to identify opportunities to promote and educate on products, services, and refer them to the appropriate team member or internal Bank partner, all while ensuring a positive customer experience.
Desirable Education and Experience
Interested candidates should hold a high school diploma or GED, and have at least one year of experience working with customers. This can be demonstrated through any of the following: volunteering, education, or military experience. Strong organization skills, excellent communication skills, effective problem-solving skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office are also preferred.
Physical Requirements
The role involves a mix of sedentary and physical work. Candidates should be comfortable performing multiple tasks, operating standard office equipment, and moving safely in confined spaces. Occasional lifting/carrying (under 25 lbs.) may be required.
