Role and Responsibilities

The Banking Associate plays a vital role in delivering TD’s brand promise at the store location. This role involves accurately completing everyday banking transactions, providing advice and educational support on services, products, and tools to help customers achieve their financial goals. The Banking Associate will perform a wide range of tasks, including processing customer transactions, opening new accounts, and educating customers on all banking products and services.

Skills and Experience

Candidates for this role are expected to have at least a high school diploma or GED, with at least 1 year of experience working with customers. This experience can come from a variety of sources, such as volunteering, education, or military experience. Strong organization skills, excellent communication skills, demonstrated effective problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently and within deadlines are also necessary for this role. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required, and a notary license is preferred.

Customer and Shareholder Accountabilities

The Banking Associate will be responsible for consistently providing legendary customer service while transacting, promoting, educating, and referring TD Products to new and existing customers. They should also understand and support the Bank’s customer service strategy. In addition, they will be responsible for ensuring compliance when completing operational activities in accordance with company guidelines and regulations such as Bank Secrecy Act and Patriot Act to minimize risk and protect the customer.

Physical Requirements
