The Role of a Senior Treasury Analyst
The Senior Treasury Analyst at Santander plays a pivotal role in supporting the day-to-day operations in Asset-Liability Management. As a Sr. Analyst, you will be entrusted with the responsibility of executing operations in liquidity risk, market risk, interest-rate risk, Cash Management, Wire Transfer, and Capital Management Processes. You will ensure the accuracy of internal reporting of financial and operational data, perform variance, reconciliation and forecasting analysis of key financial data, and ensure adherence to established standards and risk limits. You will also contribute to a strong internal control environment by executing and reporting on SOX controls, ensuring treasury policies, practices, and procedures are understood and followed.
What You Need to Succeed
The successful candidate for the Senior Treasury Analyst role must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or an equivalent field, along with 3+ years of financial planning, analysis, or related experience. Prior experience in Asset-Liability Management, Liquidity Risk Management, Cash Management, Capital Management, Capital Allocation, Recovery & Resolution, Interest-Rate Risk Management, Funds Transfer Pricing is preferred. You should be able to work well within a team, prioritize tasks, handle numerous assignments simultaneously, and convey a sense of urgency and drive. Strong verbal and written communication skills, excellent analytical, organizational, and project management skills, and proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, MS PPT, MS Outlook are required.
Certifications and Extra Skills
While it is not a requirement, being a Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) would be a plus. An established work history, or equivalent demonstrated through a combination of work experience, training, military service, or education, along with experience in Microsoft Office products, will be beneficial.
What Else You Need To Know
The base pay range for this position is $56,250.00 USD to $95,000.00 USD. At Santander, we value and respect differences in our workforce and actively encourage everyone to apply.
