Flexible Work Designation: Hybrid or Remote
Depending on your location within the continental US, the role can be either hybrid or remote. If you live within 50 miles of the Aflac offices located in Columbus, GA, or Columbia, SC, the role will be hybrid, meaning you’ll spend at least 60% of your work week in the office and work from home for the remaining portion. If you live more than 50 miles from these offices, the role will be entirely remote, requiring you to work from your home.

Job-Specific Skills and Knowledge
The position requires comprehensive knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB), state insurance department statutes, SEC, and federal and state regulations. Required Education and Experience
The role requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field, along with six years of professional job-specific experience, and five years of experience in the treasury/cash management or banking field.

While not compulsory, a Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) designation is highly desirable for this role.
Travel Requirements
The role requires minimal travel, estimated at less than or equal to 10%.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
As part of your role, you’ll be tasked with performing daily cash positioning, reviewing and exporting daily cash journal entries, assisting in the management of bank relationships, performing corporate bank account administration, supporting the cash flow forecast process, and ensuring company bank accounts are appropriately funded. You’ll also play a key role in maintaining static data within the treasury workstation, ensuring compliance with SOX controls, ERM compliance standards, and treasury policies and procedures, and providing support for all treasury-related initiatives.
