Accountabilities of an Investment Banking Analyst
An analyst in the investment banking division is tasked with various responsibilities that require high-level financial expertise. These include collaboration on live deals, client pitches, advising corporate clients, and delivering structured solutions. In addition, the role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to support business initiatives and participating in training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
The analyst is also expected to identify opportunities, develop business cases, manage deployment and launch of new products and services in investment banking, and manage client relationships. The role further involves the development and implementation of financial models and strategies that support decision making in investment banking.
Analyst Expectations
The expectations for an analyst in the investment banking division are high. The role requires in-depth technical knowledge and experience in their assigned area of expertise, a thorough understanding of the underlying principles and concepts within the area of expertise, and leadership skills. Analysts are expected to lead and supervise a team, guiding and supporting professional development, allocating work requirements, and coordinating team resources.

Summer Internship Program Overview
This program is designed to introduce interns to the world of finance and technology. During this 10-week journey, interns will be given immediate responsibilities, guided by a mentor and line manager. The program includes working with various Investment Banking teams, learning the art and science behind executing a transaction, and working on live deals and deal proposals. The projects may include financial analysis and modelling, valuation, industry research, client due diligence, and developing written materials, including offering memoranda and new business presentations.

Who we’re looking for
To be considered for this program, you must be pursuing an undergraduate degree and have a target graduation date within one year of the conclusion of this internship. A keen interest in business and finance, a GPA of 3.2 or above, and unrestricted work authorization in the country you’re applying to work within are also essential.

The program offers a competitive salary rate, and the minimum and maximum salary/rate information include only base salary or base hourly rate, not including any other type of compensation or benefits that may be available.
