Position Summary: Banking Consultant I at Magnifi Financial
At Magnifi Financial, our banking consultants are instrumental to our operations and our member relationships. Tasked with interacting with our members in person, on the phone, and through various digital channels, our banking consultants are essentially the face of our organization. They educate, recommend, and sell our products and services to our members, including the latest digital solutions. All member transactions are performed by our banking consultants in a timely, accurate, and courteous manner.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Our banking consultants are entrusted with various responsibilities. They aid members with all routine transactions, including transactions involving teller machines. They also create a remarkable member experience by responding to and providing resolutions to member requests with expertise.
In addition, they consult with members to identify and recommend Magnifi Financial products and services based on the members’ financial needs. They are responsible for making referrals to appropriate departments when necessary.
Maintaining Cash Drawer and ATM Operations
In terms of cash management, our banking consultants are responsible for maintaining the cash drawer and cash recycler, as well as the day-to-day operation of ATM machines such as deposit and ATM restocking.
Range of Account Services
They also perform a wide range of account services. This includes, but is not limited to setting up mobile deposits, mobile banking, digital banking, credit and debit card activation, handling debit card inquiries, transfers, funding loans, address changes, stop payments, transfers, check orders, and more.
Promoting Digital Solutions
Our banking consultants are at the forefront of transforming the way banking is done. They encourage and coach members to adopt new digital solutions such as mobile banking, digital banking, and ATM usage.
Community Relations
Moreover, they contribute to the mission and visibility of Magnifi Financial by actively participating in community relations efforts.
Education and Experience
For this position, a high school diploma or equivalent is required, but a two-year degree is preferred. In addition, customer service and/or sales experience is necessary. A Notary Public designation in this position is optional.

Pay Transparency
The salary range for our banking consultants is $17.12/hr. through $25.68/hr. Salaries vary based on factors such as location, internal equity, skills, experience, education, and qualifications for the role. The total compensation package varies based on the position and may include bonuses, performance-based incentives, commission, and/or discretionary bonuses.
