Role and Responsibilities of a TD Bank’s Banking Associate
The Banking Associate plays a pivotal role in delivering TD’s Brand promise at a store location. The role includes processing customer transactions, opening new accounts, and providing advice and educational support on services, products, and tools to assist customers in achieving their financial goals. The Banking Associate is also responsible for building trust with educational content & tools, providing consultative support, and advocating with proactive insights & recommendations. The role requires strong organizational skills, excellent communication skills, and a demonstrated ability to work independently and within deadlines.
Education and Experience Requirements
TD Bank seeks candidates with a high school diploma or GED and at least one year of customer service experience, preferably in a banking environment. Teller experience is preferred, and the successful candidate will be required to complete Teller training and part 1 of platform training upon hire. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required, and a Notary License is preferred.
Customer, Shareholder, and Employee Accountabilities
The Banking Associate is expected to provide legendary customer service while processing transactions, promoting, educating on, and referring TD Products to new and existing customers. The role requires compliance with all regulations, policies, and procedures, and the Banking Associate is expected to contribute to a positive work environment by aligning with TD’s model, brand, and culture. The Associate will also be responsible for maintaining appropriate records of action plans and complying with the TD Code of Conduct.
