James Rubenstein Returns to the Finance Industry
After a hiatus from the hedge fund world, James Rubenstein has made a comeback, this time at electronic market making firm GTS Securities. Rubenstein, who previously worked at ExodusPoint, is now taking on a senior role at GTS Securities in New York.

GTS Securities is a prominent electronic market making firm that plays a significant role in the US financial markets. Responsible for approximately 5% of daily cash equities volume in the US, GTS Securities also operates in fixed income markets.
James Rubenstein’s Background
Before joining GTS Securities, Rubenstein had an extensive career in finance. He spent nearly 13 years at UBS, where he held the position of head of algorithmic trading and analytics until 2018. Following his time at UBS, Rubenstein had stints at Deutsche Bank, BNP Paribas, Liquidnet, and ExodusPoint.
Given Rubenstein’s experience and expertise in the industry, it is believed that he may be looking to expand his team in his new role at GTS Securities.
