The role is a full-time position, with a competitive pay range of $23.75 to $31.00 USD. The compensation offered may vary based on the candidate’s skills, experience, job-related knowledge, geographic location, and other specific business and organizational needs.
The role on offer is for a Banking Associate. This role is a cornerstone of TD’s promise to deliver legendary customer experiences. The Banking Associate is expected to accurately complete everyday banking transactions while providing advice and educational support on services, products, and tools to help customers achieve their financial goals.
Role Details and Responsibilities
The Banking Associate role is multidimensional and requires the candidate to perform a wide range of tasks across multiple areas within a Store location. This includes processing customer transactions, opening new accounts, and educating customers on all banking products and services. The role is also geared towards delivering end-to-end advice customers expect, building trust, providing consultative support, and advocating with proactive insights & recommendations.
Additionally, the Banking Associate will be responsible for using TD’s systems and tools to engage with customers, acquire and deepen relationships, and promote and educate on products and services. The candidate will also need to understand customer financial needs to identify opportunities and ensure a positive customer experience.
Experience and Skills Required
For this role, a high school diploma or GED is required along with at least 1 year of experience working with customers in any capacity. The experience could be from volunteering, education, or military service. The ideal candidate should have demonstrated customer service skills, strong organization skills, excellent communication skills, effective problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently and within deadlines.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office is a must, and a notary license is preferred. The candidate should also be available to work during operating hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.
