The Role at Schwab’s Service Team
The service team at Schwab is a vital part of the firm’s commitment to assist clients in owning their financial futures. In this role, the incumbent will be instrumental in educating clients about various investment strategies, trading tools, market mechanics, and retirement options.
The role requires the individual to engage and advocate for clients, answering inbound calls, taking responsibility, and resolving complex issues to provide the best possible solutions. It’s about taking charge of your professional journey through the Schwab Service Academy (SSA), a program that offers paid training, study time, and support to obtain your Securities Industry Essentials and FINRA Series 7 & 63 licenses.
Compensation and Growth Opportunities
Schwab offers a competitive pay and bonus package with a starting compensation of $52,800 during training, plus an annual bonus opportunity of 10% of your base pay and other eligible earnings. With the potential to increase total compensation to $60,280 (including base pay and bonus opportunity), depending on performance and the acquisition of necessary licensing, Schwab provides an excellent platform for financial growth and professional development.

Required Qualifications
- Ability to work full time on-site during Schwab’s training program (SSA), followed by a hybrid work schedule.
- Ability to work various shifts to serve clients 24/7, including overnight and weekend availability.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous customer service experience
- Previous client relationship experience
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Economics, or related field from an accredited university
- Ability to adapt to changes in the market and business
- Eagerness to learn about finance
