Role and Responsibilities of a Banking Associate at TD
As a Banking Associate, you will play a crucial role in delivering TD’s brand promise at the store location. You will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks, including processing customer transactions, opening new accounts, and educating customers on TD’s banking products and services. You will also provide advice and guidance to customers to help them achieve their financial goals, using TD’s systems and tools to engage with customers and deepen relationships.
Moreover, you will accurately complete everyday banking transactions, service customers with opening/closing personal deposit accounts, manage wait times to meet with a banker, and ensure tasks are performed within established policies and procedures. You will also be required to ensure ongoing compliance with internal/external audit and regulatory requirements, maintain appropriate records of action plans, and comply with TD’s Code of Conduct.
Requirements and Qualifications
TD is looking for a high school diploma or GED holder with at least one-year experience working with customers. Teller experience is preferred, and the ability to work during operating hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, is a must. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, demonstrated customer service skills, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work independently and within deadlines.
