Role Overview
The part-time position entails working 24 hours a week, providing top-notch service to BMO customers and prospects. As a member of this role, you’ll identify customer needs and offer advice and guidance on financial solutions that best suit them. You’ll also collaborate within the branch and through various BMO channels to deliver an exceptional customer experience and achieve overall business objectives.
Job Responsibilities
The role is diverse and involves various responsibilities, including collaborating with BMO partners to identify referral opportunities and grow the customer’s relationship with BMO beyond personal banking. You’ll be expected to welcome and guide customers as they step into the branch lobby, providing advice on available digital and self-serve options to make banking with BMO easy and straightforward.
Additionally, this role will require you to conduct client conversations about banking services, suggest alternative banking channels, and provide personal banking and investment advice. You will need to meet customer transaction-based needs seamlessly, review customer profiles, and engage customers in needs-based conversations to identify potential opportunities and address everyday banking plans and credit card needs.
Qualifications
Generally, this role requires 1 – 2 years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. You should be confident and experienced in using social media, tablets, smartphones, online tools, and applications. A consultative customer service or sales background is beneficial, as is a drive to deliver a personal customer experience. It will be advantageous to have basic knowledge of specialized sales and business banking solutions to refer to specialists.
Salary and Benefits
The salary for this position ranges from $41,714.00 to $50,500.00, depending on factors such as location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications for the role.
